Current Doctors split time between the Madison and Cottage Grove locations with 6 operatories in Madison and 4 operatories in Cottage Grove.  Office focus is on cosmetics, full mouth reconstructions, general dentistry, Invisalign, CEREC, sleep appliances, periodontal surgery, implants, lab created crowns and more. Patient mix is 70% adults, 30% children.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Excellence in Dentistry, Madison WI is seeking a professional, self-motivated, Registered Dental Hygienist to join a talented team of dental professionals.

The candidate we are looking for possesses the personality that easily establishes relationships, has strong organizational skills to juggle customized request, and clear communication skills.  Candidates must have a Registered State of WI Hygiene License, State of WI Local Anesthesia Certification, and be CPR and AED certified.  Ideal candidates would have knowledge of the Eaglesoft dental software and have at least one year of experience in the dental industry.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

This is a full- time position working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8-5 and Friday from 8-2.

  • Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients
  • Diagnose treatment and update x-rays
  • Complete patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection
  • Be detailed oriented to accurately chart dental caries, pre-existing restoration, and perio
  • Deliver direct patient care using established dental hygiene procedures
