Diane, Dental Hygienist

Diane joined Excellence in Dentistry in 1983, where she’s worked side-by-side with Dr. Hill for over 20 years as a dental hygienist. Her gentle spirit and years of education remain a welcome presence as she teaches our patients about oral health and it's impact on the body’s overall health. Outside of the office, Diane is an avid fan of the Badgers.

Pam, Dental Hygienist

Pam earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa before joining our office as a dental hygienist in 1999. She’s experienced in treating all levels of dental care, including periodontal disease. Like every other member of our team, she takes great pride in bringing our patients’ dental health back to an optimum state in a gentle, personalized manner. Away from work, Pam enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three wonderful grandchildren.

Tina, Dental Hygienist

Tina has dual roles in our office as a dental hygienist and as an assistant to our dentists. She remains dedicated to establishing positive, caring relationships with our patients that last for years to come. In her spare time, she’s a committed hockey mom and loves spending time with her family.

Stephanie, Dental Hygienist

Stephanie has dual roles in our office as both a registered dental hygienist and a dental assistant. Her energy and outgoing spirit keep us on our toes every day and is one reason our patients love our office. But Stephanie is more than just passionate about helping patients, she's also committed to learning and regularly attends continuing education programs, ensuring our patients receive the best care possible.

Helene, Dental Hygienist

Helene joined our Madison and Cottage Grove offices as a dental hygienist in 2007. She’s an excellent educator and takes tremendous pride in helping patients understand why complete oral care is so beneficial to their overall health. What’s more, her refreshing sense of humor and friendly spirit help our patients feel at ease and make her a joy to work with. Her favorite hobbies include gardening, hiking, fishing, and anything besides housework!

Erica, Dental Hygienist

Having worked with Dr. Batchelor and Dr. Sergeant in the past, Erica was excited to join them again in 2007 as a dental hygienist. Their expertise and professionalism constantly inspire her to provide the highest level of care to our patients. Backed by years of experience within the dental field, including pediatric dentistry, her primary goal is to make our patients comfortable while helping them achieve optimum oral health. When not at the office, she devotes her time to her daughter.

Cylinda, Dental Assistant

Cylinda’s dedication and experience makes even the most apprehensive dental patient feel comfortable during a visit to our office. When not assisting Dr. Batchelor, she takes on the role of supply manager, ensuring our offices have the best and most advanced products available for our patients. In her spare time, she’s not afraid to turn up the music and dance with her children.

Carol, Dental Assistant

Carol has been with Dr. Hill and Excellence in Dentistry for 20 years. She brings a fun, vivacious personality to dentistry and has a knack for educating and inspiring our patients. Her passionate, friendly spirit makes her a joy to work with day in and day out. When not helping patients, Carol enjoys spending time with her family and perfecting the fine art of shopping!

Cathy, Dental Assistant

Catherine’s vibrant spirit, Bachelors of Science degree, and extensive background in the healthcare industry help her provide patients with a positive and valuable dental experience. She’s trained in all aspects of dental assisting and works at our Cottage Grove and Madison offices. In addition to assisting our patients and dentists, she’s also part of our administrative team and may be the first smiling face you see when you walk through our door.

Linda, Dental Assistant

Linda is more than just our newest dental assistant—she also has an extensive background in the medical field as both an EMT and a certified CPR trainer. This kind of expertise gives our patients confidence and helps them feel at ease the minute they step foot in our office.

Lyn, Patient Care Coordinator

Lyn’s kind and sunny disposition has been making our patients feel welcome since 1999. Both a Patient Care Coordinator and an “insurance guru,” she assists with the financial aspects of our patients’ care, allowing them to get the treatment they want and deserve. In her spare time, she loves to roller skate to funky, loud music.

Rachel, Patient Care Coordinator

Rachel joined Excellence in Dentistry in 1978 and is a Patient Care Coordinator at our Cottage Grove office. In addition to always greeting our patients with an enthusiastic “hello,” she’s also formed lasting friendships with our patients and has watched many of them grow up throughout the years. Her extensive experience gives her the ability to thoroughly answer patients’ questions, setting their mind at ease and helping them feel welcome. Outside the office, she loves reading and traveling with her growing family.

Sue, Patient Care Coordinator

Sue has been presenting a warm, friendly welcome to everyone who visits our Madison office since 2006 and is committed to providing one-on-one personal attention to patients both over the phone and in our office. Whether its scheduling appointments, answering questions, or helping patients find a financing plan for treatment, she’s always willing to answer any questions you might have. Outside the office you can find Sue spending time with her husband and two energy- filled teenage daughters.
