Barbara |
After graduating from the University of California in Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Barbara moved to Madison. Here, she received her degree in dental hygiene at MATC and joined our team in 1984. Barbara cleans teeth, assists the dentists, photographs patients, presents treatment plans, and assists with bite evaluations. |

Carol |
Carol began working with Dr. Hill in 1984. She enjoys seeing our patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile and providing education about possible treatments and their effects. Carol’s favorite cases are complex restorations and anterior esthetic cases that offer amazing possibilities for your smile. |

Diane |
Diane has worked in our office since 1983. She cleans teeth and educates patients on ways to improve their dental health, and she also coordinates the purchase of new products and technology for our hi-tech practice. Diane enjoys learning about new dental techniques and appreciates the many educational opportunities our practice offers. |

Elinor |
Elinor, Dr. Hill’s mother, has been with the practice for over 50 years, nurturing it from conception. She is a vital part of our administrative team, and she ensures that the office runs smoothly. Rest assured, when we spend money foolishly, she comes down hard on us... she is our trusty bookeeper. |

Gretchen |
Gretchen is the patient coordinator at our Cottage Grove office. She schedules patients’ appointments, discusses billing and payment options, and files insurance claims. |

Lanna |
Lanna, our lab technician, joined the Excellence in Dentistry team in 2000. As a skilled dental lab technician, she performs occlusal analyses and assists in office administration. Before joining our team, Lanna worked for 16 years as a surgical assistant with Dr. Chris Cormany, a retired periodontist in Madison. |

Lyn |
Lyn, our scheduling coordinator, is one of the first smiling faces to greet customers at our practice. She will arrange appointments so your entire family can be seen at convenient times. She believes meeting new patients is a wonderful opportunity to share our one-of-a-kind approach to dentistry. |

Pam |
Pam graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene. For 23 years, she worked with Dr. Chris Cormany, a periodontist in Madison, and after he retired, she joined our team in 2000. Pam enjoys helping patients improve and maintain their dental health. |

Rachel |
Rachel, our office administrator, joined our dental practice in 1978. Over the years, she has worked as a chair-side assistant and receptionist. She can answer any billing or insurance question you have. She enjoys watching our practice change as dentistry evolves. |

Tina |
Tina, our dental hygienist and dental assistant, has worn many hats over the years. Since joining our practice in 1980, Tina has enjoyed following the latest changes in dental technology and watching our practice grow and blossom with the new tools we have incorporated. She continues to stay on top of the latest research and improve patient care with new technology and procedures. |

Cylinda, one of our dental assistants, has worked for Dr. Batchelor for many years, and she joined Excellence in Dentistry in 2005 to continue working with him. She helps patients relax and enjoy their experience at our practice. |

Julia

Julia joined Excellence in Dentistry in June, 2005 after receiving her dental hygiene degree from MATC. Before receiving her degree, however, she worked with Dr. Batchelor as a dental assistant. Julia is a Cambridge native who enjoys living in the Madison area. |

Cheryl
|
Cheryl, one of our dental assistants, has worked with Dr. Sergeant for the past year. Before coming to Excellence in Dentistry in 2006, she worked in many facets of dentistry for years including endodontics, periodontics, esthetic dentistry, and oral surgery. She continues to enjoy the new innovations that are arising in the field of dentistry. She moved to Wisconsin from Florida 14 years ago and now resides in Sun Prairie with her son Travis, who will be taking off for college this fall and her dog Minnie.

Babette

Babette joined Excellence in Dentistry in 2006 as a patient coordinator which entails scheduling appointments, billing, and insurance needs. She graduated from MATC as a certified medical assistant and has many years of experience working with patients. She thoroughly enjoys the dental field and being surrounded by a great team, a wonderful atmosphere and most importantly, getting to know the many patients and ultimately knowing they are receiving the best care possible.

Sue |
If you have called our North Sherman Avenue office since last fall, the first voice you've likely encountered is Sue's. She joined our team when Excellence In Dentistry welcomed Radiance Skin Therapy as they moved into a suite at the north end of our building. Sue is the appointment coordinator for both businesses and has adapted very well to the new position. She has past experience in the medical spa industry and brings to us vast knowledge in customer service and skin care services and products. Born and raised on Madison's beautiful east side, she is married and has 2 daughters. Away from the office she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Stephanie |
Stephanie has been with Excellence in Dentistry since 2006 and her roles include both dental hygiene and assisting. She grew up in Neenah and moved to Madison in 2002 to attend the dental hygiene program. Prior to that she was a dental assistant for both Drs. Batchelor and Sergeant, and then rejoined them after finishing the dental hygiene program. Stephanie was recently married in January 2006 and loves outdoor activities such as hunting, and horseback riding, and plays on a coed summer softball league in DeForest. The thing she likes most about working in a dental practice is that she gets to work with people from all walks of life and is able to utilize all of the skills she picked up in her training.
