Dental Implants
A dental implant is a small titanium fixture surgically implanted into the jawbone. Titanium is a safe, non-corrosive metal that effectively fuses with living bone. The implant acts as a root to hold a crown, bridge, or denture permanently in place. Depending on the number of teeth being replaced, more than one dental implant may be required. A prosthetic tooth or teeth will be created and fitted onto the implants.
Dental implants are strong, stable, durable, and virtually undetectable. Best of all, permanent implants can help you talk, eat, and smile with confidence. Treatment can be time consuming and costly, but dental implants are the best and most permanent method to replace missing teeth.
If you’re considering dental implants, we will examine your mouth and discuss the advantages and procedure with you. We work closely with a trusted oral surgeon who will place the implants while our dental team prepares the crown, bridge, or denture. Once the implant is placed, we will monitor your progress and help you maintain your dental health.
